Depends on the definition of airline. If Titan is one, that's the only one I can think of!

You could probably add Global Supply System.

Anyone know if Excel have a base at STN, and is this seasonal?

Nope, Excel are not at Stansted.

easyJet
Ryanair
Titan Airways
Air 2000 or First Choice Airways
MyTravel Airways
Brittania or ThomsonFly Charter
Air Berlin

Thats the most i can think of, others are mostly European low-co's that fly in.

I think for summer 06 Excel plan to take over from that shoddy outfit Air Scandal due to their "outstanding" record this summer but I could be wrong.
Oh and MyTravel base has closed but you have missed out Thomas Cook who have a base at STN.
Not sure that Air Berlin base crew here tho????
FlyGlobespan open base from Oct/Nov this year so watch this space!:D

hi i work for ryanair at stansted and can tell you a list of what comes into stansted.

Channel Express (Mixed)
Titan Airways (Mixed)
Cyprus Airways (Mixed)
Ryanair (737-800)
Easyjet (Mixed)
Global Supply (747)
TNT (Mixed)
Nippon Air Cargo (747)
Royal Mail (737)
Sky Europe (Mixed)
Thomson Fly (Old Britannia)
First Choice (Old Air 2000)
My Travel
Fly Globe Span
Eastern Airways (G-MAJO is only used here)
Thomas Cook
UPS
Fed Ex
Dragon Air Cargo
Air Berlin
CSA (Cheq airlines)
Viking

these are some of the main ones that are in and out on a regular basis however there are a few others that come in and out.

Most recent ones that have come in for what ever reason was BA and one was parked over night in the north side of the airfield due to the latest problems.

there are some others that use the airport but not on a regular basis so not sure of the names.

Heads UP:

there is one main terminal and 3 satalites for departures and arrivals with sat 3 being Ryanair only.

they have just restarted the building work for the new sat 4 now that thye newts have been re homed and rumours have it that Virgin is one of the airlines looking at using the new sat 4.

STN have wanted to start international flights to the USA so this might be a start also in the local BAA news paper Fly globe Span are looking to start international flights to the USA in the next year or so.

WATCH THIS SPACE thats all i say.

also SR technics have just been awarded the £1 billon contract to maintain Easyjet's A319's for the next 10 years.

i hope some of this information is usefull however the roumours on the airfield about who will be using the new sat 4 is speculation and has not been confirmed.

thanks for reading and good luck

oh yes, Globespan mini base.

Not sure about the crew situation with Air Berlin, i am aware they have a good few flights in and out, but they do fly direct services from STN to Palma for example.

Wasnt aware about MyTravel going! That's a shame
