Used to live in Sydenham did you Onan?

She used to get the train up to town from Sydenham, dunno what street she lived in though.

I thought she was bloody skinny.

She was very fit but also pretty weird. All this spiritual claptrap and so on. Anyway she earned enough to withdraw and spend goodness knows how many years producing an album that I've never seen in the shops..... :hmm:

I was going to say that one in the hand was worth two in Kate Bush but won't as that would probably get me banned

Wow (no pun inteneded!) Kate Bush. I used to adore her, thought she was brilliant, beautifull, talented etc. Watched her show in Liverpool, she kept going off to change outfit after more or less every song which was a bit annoying but she sung so well, I remember her voice live was just great.

I did have all of her singles, albums and loads of posters, my pride and joy they were but they got stolen with the rest of my music collection in the mid eighties. Imagine that having all your albums nicked, it nearly killed me I was gutted.

Anyhow, back to the question, big yes from me. I wonder what she is doing now, where she lives etc, I expect her to live in France or somewhere in a big castle!!!! Anyone know?

Who remembers the piss Kenny Everett used to take out of her? Even when I was younger it was funny.

(What ever happened to Kenny?)

Actually, FWIW he died in 1995.

Anyway.... I've got an old Live Aid video where Kate appears with The Young Ones and she looks great (although a bit too skinny for me).

Very fit IMHO.

i am surprised she never did a duet with Michael Jackson, the song ' man with a child in his eyes comes to mind'

Did Kenny Everett fall of the perch the same time as Liberachi,
Quite an ironic tragedy imagine playing the piano for fifty years and dying from an organ.

Kate Bush - I thought she was soooo hot it was unreal however I never liked her music and still don't. Rather like Kim Wilde (who was and still is really hot):}

I've been listening to the new album this weekend - mixture of some pretty pretentious rubbish (in one track she drones on about a washing machine) but also some very high quality well produced music. The original sound but with a very fresh feel.

7/10 in my humble opinion (would have been 9 but for the aforementioned 'Ode to Hotpoint').

Whilst I can see that some find Kate Bush attractive, she resembles my female cousins of my father's side of the family too much to affect me in that way. Wouldn't want two-headed offspring, would we?
