Do you know what we see on this picture?

I think it could be a variant of an Agusta 106.

Every information is welcome.

It appears to be the Romanian IAR-317 Airfox based around an Allouette III.

I like the concept of the onboard bar in a machine that small!

Good thinking on the part of the design team. :ok:

The 'Bar' sign on the tail signifies that this is the Airfox variant with integrated towbar.

Was this only a prototype, or dit the rumanian millitary introduce this helicopter?

For what is a tow bar at the tail boom?

I also like the integral control tower built into the rotor head!

Very good thinking on the part of the design team. I wonder if they came up with that concept after a couple of hours in the onboard bar?

Its a MMCT (Mast Mounted Control Tower). I believe two Romainian Radar Ops sit up there and look for targets with binos. Its a cheaper version of the Longbow Millimetric on the AH64D. :}

I have my thrmos and anorak at the ready!
If you look at the tail rotor assembly the rotor head and the engine. The aircraft is surely a derivative of the SA 313 Alouette 2.
Probably built in India where under HAL the aircraft are still produced. The newer versions called Cheetal have FADEC and flash instruments. Sorry I can't be more precise. BB
