Swazi-registered MD-80's

Does anybody have a clue as to why Romanian Acvila Air is operating two MD-82 in Swazi register, 3D-ABV and 3D-JET.

ABV is currently in Gambia, while JET is operating in Cyprus; both will soon go on Romanian register.

Anybody ?

Flag of Convenience - the owners Jetran Intl. are using it as a way of wet leasing the aircraft on to customers, just as they are using the Acvila Air AOC, u will recall one of the aircraft started life on 3D- reg when wet leased to the short lived Kyrgiz Air fiasco - I'll believe the aircraft going on the YR- reg when I see it!
