Aircraft to rent?

I'm looking for someone who will rent me a C-172, C-150/2 or PA28 (140-160) as I am planning to do about 100-150 hrs in SA within the next few months.

If you know of anyone who can oblige please let me know.

Can't think of anything else I'd rather do than spend 150 hours exploring this beautiful country in a light aircraft......well may be one or two :E

The general aviation community of SA congregate online at a site www.avcom.co.za - these okes will help you out with good local advice as well.

PS Not sure how familiar you are with SA's georgraphy and climate but a significant chunk of the country is over 4000'AMSL and gets very hot in summer so a 150/152 might not be a good choice of a/c.

I forgot how little puff they have at hot & high airports ( learnt to fly at George and there even the little guys climb well!).

Will probably have to spend time in Pta as well so maybe a 172 might be better. It's like so many other things driven by money or rather the lack thereof:(
