Who will recruit?

without entering into the rights or wrongs of SSTR, my question is this. Who will recruit a SSTR with zero flight time?
Are there companies that will look at an individual who has gone out and taken the time and effort and spent the money, if there is what is the type to go for? B737, A320, ATR42/72 or Q400?

Think a TP rating would give you a better chance of being employed with zero time on Type than a jet one. Certainly I know Flybe are short on Q400 guys and can't train them fast enough. The step up to a TP is less difficult than a jet, hence companies are more willing to employ you. Eastern are quite fond of SSTR guys on the 32/41.

Would any TP or jet crew care to comment regarding the above, especially from Flybe if it is true that they are short of crews.
