Looking for someone to do the MD80-typerating with.
Prefer SAS FA in Stockholm.
I'm interest in the course for pilots with 1000hrs or more.

Regards

Hi Dhog,

if you don't mind me asking, why do you want an MD80 rating?? I have one and it is practically useless if you want a job(unless somebody has already promised you one). Why not a 737 or airbus rating??

Ramrise

Application deadline september 1st. with course start in november. :D

Sorry to hear that you don't find a job with your MD80-rating.
It may depend on how many flighthours you have.
There are some new companies in Europe that fly the MD80.
I do know the the MD80 is on the way out but hopefully I can
fly it for a few years to get some valuable jet time.

Good luck with your job search.

Hello Dusthog,

You shouldn't feel sorry for me as I have a job. I have flown the MD almost six years now and I really like flying it. It keeps you on your toes and can be abit of a handful. So, if you do get the rating, enjoy it!! It will be fun. I just wondered since almost everybody these days want a Boeing or Airbus rating.

Good Luck.

Brgds,
