Shannon Aerospace are always on the lookout for licensed guys, A320, 737, 757, 767.
Permanent rate is absolute ***** , contract rate not much better. Approx 19 an hr plus 50 a day expenses. Big problems at the moment with word on the grapevine that Swissair thinking of pulling out.
Each line used to run at approx 100 guys, now about 40/50 the rest connies.
Superb facility, all the equip that you could want, terrific cantine.
Pity the management weren't sent on man management courses.
Try for Aer Lingus but chances of promotion slim.

Transaer and F.L.S. line maint. at Dub handle A320/A330. With F.L.S the shifts are terrible and the $ aint great(depending on qualifications). With Transaer you may be sent to where the a/c is leased so it could be anywhere for 6 mths. but the dosh is reasonable.

I worked at Shannon Aerospace when it first opened and the rumours then were that either Swissair or Lufthansa were going to pull out. Highly unlikely due to the amount of dosh they would have to pay to the respective partners to get out, plus, they both get their heavy maint done there at half the cost of doing it at their own base! (All heavy stuff by the way, no line work)

Lovely part of the world to live, but if you are working 15hrs a day, 7 days a week..not much point really?
