Does anyone know the name of the Hotel thats right next to the runway at Heathrow?
If you are at the Terminal side looking straight over the Airport there's one thats just got a roadway seperating the Hotel and Runway.

Thanks

Might be the Renaissance?

That'd be the one... the same hotel as where the flight training exhibitions by flyer magazine are held every six months.

Brilliant Hotel, they even do special 'spotter' packages which guarantee a view of the airport.

I first discovered it when I was put up there by MEA in the early 70's and if I ever have to overnight at LHR that is where I stay, my treat to me.

Ye it's wicked. Pretty steep though. Around £90 a night.

May aswell go Jury's Inn £40 there.

Premier Travel Inn London Heathrow Bath Road is probably the one you are after J32.

This one offers park and fly packages and is right next to the runway. Depending on which way the a/c are landing they can hit the runway directly opposite the entrance to reception!
