2) Describe the construction of an aircraft generator.

Please find about generator:
Functionally it`s comprises:
- rotating 3-phase exciter armature which provides power through in-built rectifier to energize main generator rotor
- PM generator which provides single phase power to an external voltage regulator, which supplies regulated DC to the exciter generator stator;
- 3-phase star connected main generator stator.
This is quite briefly .
