Greetings everyone!
For lifestyle and cultural reasons I am getting interested in European carriers.
My knowledge base on Euro flying is nil...since I have always flown in the US.
Please help me with some very basic questions and feel free to elaborate.

FAA ATP to CAA ATPL in 6-9 months?
Is conversion automatic with +3000hrs +500jet?
NG = Glass cockpit? EFIS, FMC Vnav, Lnav etc...Heads up display?
How much total taxes do you pay in % of income?
Rosters: 5-3 or 5-2-5-4, can you trade with company or pilots, drop trips?
How many sick days, vacation days?
What is the typical fly day, show time, legs, off time, max duty/fly time?
Jump seat privileges with other airlines?
Bases: How do you pick, if no seniority list? (ex Ryanair)
Does every pilot negotiate their own contract, lock/payback/bond.
Do you pay for recurrent sim, hotel, transportation?
How is your company treating you without being unionized?

I have both US and EU passports.
By recently reading these forums I have gained a plethora of information, most of it from UK pilots.
Where are the continental Europe based fliers?

Thank you for sharing :ok:

As regards Ryanair, just do a search on this site using the one word "Ryanair". Reading up on all the posts will take you some time - but the remarkable number of threads and their content will tell you all you need to know. On the other hand, all information relevant to answering your questions can be obtained on this site. Few have the energy to keep re-stating it in response to questions such as you pose. But it is worth your while reading it - it will save you a lot of time and strife. I cannot speak for carriers other than Ryanair.

The comments made above by "Aloue" can in many respects apply to easyJet, in that virtually everything can be found by searching the forums.
