Now can we expect Airbus to lower their prices by 34%, offer to train 16 pilots per airframe ordered and throw in holiday homes in Toulouse for every airline director that orders an Airbus before December 2005...........oh, and throw in a 14 day holiday in Bali with call girls and Casino spending money provided? If so, I'll take five of those rather pretty looking ones with long wings and two engines please!

The listed price is only the starting point of a long series of discussions, it isnt a fixed price by any means.

Might "list price" be a method that A. & B. use to signal pricing intentions back and forth while avoiding the antitrust laws.

An "orderly marketplace" has certain advantages.
