Have any of you non American Engineers(Read mechanics for the Yanks) had any experience any contract work in the US. There seems to be a lot out there, the money $18-20/hr isn't so good but I need to be there for a reason (cheap flying), I don't have a green card but I do have a US social security number a CAA A&C Engineers licence and an A&P. Anybody know of any good contracts going on there at the moment? I've tried some of the US agencies but they won't discuss anything with an "Alien".

Basically,it is no green card,no work.If you really want it you could get a wife,a U.S. one that is!Should be easy on the net?
Also check your A&P cos' I believe rcently they have stamped them for outside U.S.A.
only for non-U.S. citizens(aliens).
