Problem opening links

For some strange reason my computer won't open up a link in a another window.
I tried turning off pop up blocker and anti virus software but its no use, anyone have any idea how to fix it?

Go to Microsoft knowledge data basepage and type in something like cannot open links, the answers there, tells you how to replace a few files including a javascript file which is maybe your problem.
