Does anybody know a school or organization that offers courses on anything related to traffic rights, landing permits etc.?
I'm not looking for an air law course but something geared towards the practical side of the subject.

Hi CIV5C

I'm not aware of any specific courses that are stand alone Traffic rights/Overflight clearances/Landing permits etc.

The "bible" from an Operations point of view is the CAP555.

I would guess the Avtech 2000 C&G course will touch on traffic rights as would any flight dispatchers course.

You have the Jeppesen acadamy that run them now in this country and in Europe, also Lufty in FRA.

Also of course is the Glasgow course that SHOULD cover it, I have no idea where they are up to on that course, it was pretty bad in the early stages, but I reckon it ought to be better now?? There is a seperate thread on this forum regarding people asking for updates on that score.

Sorry can't be of more help

that'd be quite useful for me as well - although we tried to get hold of an up to date CAP 555 and apprently they arent updated any more - is this true???
