Hi all
I have a question about bonding agreements. I believe it's common practice that when an employer sponsors your training, you are often bonded to them for a set period of time, during which time if you leave (or jump ship to a competitor) you have to repay the cost of your training. Does anyone have a sample form of contract or details of how this legally works?
In case you are wondering as to my motives - I'm working on a completely non-aviation related training project at work, and it would help me to know what the basis of these agreements are in the airline industry. I mentioned the idea to some colleagues in our H.R department and they believed it may be illegal!
