No official announcements concerning additional B734’s have been made. If you have any information, please share it with us. This is after all a rumour network.

Saw some South Africans in Melbourne, cockpit and cabin service crew, pre flight Quantas 737, on it's way to R.S.A. Could this be it?

BA Comair have recently bought 3 (or 4??) ex-Qantas B737-376s, so maybe thats what SA crew were doing in Melborne.
Read on justplanes.com that the B734s were replacements for the MD82s.
