IF MY HOLDING SPEED IS 210KTS WHAT ANGLE OF BANK IS REQUIRED TO MAINTAIN A RATE ONE TURN, ALSO IF THE HOLD DEPICTED IS NOT FLOWN TO AN ADJACENT CROSS CUT RADIAL OR OUTBOUND TO A DME RANGE IS THE STANDARD OUTBOUND LEG 1 MIN +/- WIND EFFECT.

Hi There,

I actually thought that the equation was your (IAS/10) + 7 equals Rate 1 turn.

For 210kts, that would be (210/10)+7, or 28 degrees AOB.
