Direct Placement Visa's

I'm just about done high school, looking at my options. Schools like Delta Connection, PanAm...ect. all offer a direct placement as part of there 'package'. I'm from Canada... I would be under a M-1 visa. I can't work under this visa.

Does this mean the direct placement dosn't apply to me?
