Would very much appreciate if anyone could fill in the gaps regarding the details of the actual type rating course itself. The BFSAA site states :
""Standard Type Rating Course: Euro 24.300,-- Extra costs (travelling, housing, ID application, etc.): At cost, payable by student.
Typical rates for accommodation in the Arlanda area Euro 400,-- to Euro 800,-- per person per month.""
How accurate is this information? What would be an average course length, 5 weeks? Do they actually help to source accommodation and is the TR price estimate close?
