Are the headphone sockets single 3.5mm stereo jacks, or 2 mono jacks?

(I've got a pair of noise cancelling 'phones which I'd like to use, but I've lost the double mono adaptor, was wondering if I needed to get hold of another one)

Cheers

The sockets are single stereo. My noise cancelling headphones work fine in WTP.

yep WT+ uses 3.5mm stereo, I have carried the two pronged adaptor for my Sony NC's all round the world and IIRC the only aircraft I had to use it on was GF's A340's.

... and LH's A340s.

Just be careful as inFirst they have started replacing the jacks with two pin ones but they are giving out noise cancelling headsets now so you can leave your bulky ones at home!

The new ones in F are of dubious quality though. If your personal ones are good then go with those to be sure.

They are but the jacks are gradually being upgraded in conjunction with the a/c's maintenace schedule so that by the time they are all finished the jacks will provide full noise cancellation in conjunction with the head sets regardless of whether they are being used for audio or visual use!
