Does anyone out there know of or heard that Execujet has acquired a BBJ?

No idea,

I know NAC sold one to a client in the middle east somewhere. not sure who is going to operate it.

I am obviously confused! The state owned airline has a history of maintenance and operation of Boeing Aircraft, but the aircraft is going to Execujet?! Quite possible as this is Africa but the mind once again boggles.

remember that Execujet has a contract with the SAAF to maintain the King Air,s , Citations and the Falcons .This contract expires at the end of next year , I believe

For info SAA lost the contract through their inability to support the aircraft as promised. ExecuJet have been supporting the Falcons for years so it makes sense for the SAAF to have one contractor support the fleet.

Hello

I flew in ZS-EAG / LJ31A, around 4 or 5 years ago. I think this is the LJ you are referring to, but I am not sure if it's still with EJ.

Cheers

There is onlyone BBJ in SA. Where it sits they are going to upgrade the runway. It will take time. The Fearless Leader's transport is rumoured to be based out of FALA with Execujet.
I see airport closures reminisent to the rest of the continent looming on the horizon, hours either side of departure/arrival- what fun we have in Africa!
