If you look at the plan view of an aircraft (eg looking down on it) the centreline of the aircraft is Buttock Line 0. Parallel lines drawn left and right of the Buttock Line (usually at 3 to 6 inch intervals) are called Butt 1R, Butt 1L etc.

Or can be in inches i.e BL23L is 23 inches left of centre viewed from above.

No they have got it all wrong. The buttock line is the crease that is left in the sofa after you have sat on it for too long. The length of the buttock line divided by the softness factor of the sofa will give you the arse size.

Sometimes you get multiple buttock lines this is caused by figiting. If you divide the number of lines by the time spent on the sofa then sub divide by the arse size and multiply buy the sofa softnes factor you will get the wobbly bot index.

Hope this has been of help

Hence the well known equation :-

C = BLxT (MBLxF)
Therefore WBI = SSF divided AS x T

If questioned on any oral exam, quote this equation.....working on the VPL solution and would appreciate any help !!!

Technically you are almost correct but your definition requires expansion.

The Buttock line is the impression left when an avionic engineer drags himself off his seat to make tea.

Correction, the impression left when the avionic engineer gets up to get the cup of tea that the A&C bloke made him!

No NO No NO

A&C men dont make tea for avionics. They are not good enogh for it. If there is a seat there it must be for sitting on so we do the right thing and sit on it.

You dont get to see us get up because you have all trapped off.

NO.. I agree Reeboot, a&c wouldn't make tea for avionics due to the fact that they would not have time because they would be doing PSCs, and when avionics do move out of ther seats it's normally to go to breakfast!! Ha Ha Ha :D :D :D
