Hi everyone,

apologies for having to ask on here but I'm going to RAF Odiham from London and will be using public transport.

Can anyone tell me wheres the nearest train station to get a cab to the guardroom etc...

I've tried speaking to the rail companies but they're useless!!!

Thanks everyone

I suspect that Basingstoke is your best bet.

Or get off in Hook (May need to change at Farnborough OR Fleet)

No more than 10 mins to main gate from Hook station. (Not sure about bus availability or cost).

Why not get MT to pick you up from the station if its a work related trip?

Why not get the RAF to pick you up from the office if it is a work related trip?

Its not work related. I'm going there to visit one of the units there (618 VGS).

Many thanks for the info everyone!

Pick up from Hook Station may be possible if arriving by train to visit 618. You may have to wait a bit, depending upon operational tasks in hand/availability of staff. If you can give a bit of advance notice re. arrival time it would help a lot.
