I've had 5 pairs of fast jets fly overhead about 5 minutes between eaxh pair, in the last 30 minutes, heading west.

Two of the pairs were light blue and white, others went directly overhead couldn't tell what they were F somethings? (twin engine) maybe same as first pairs.

Could be the same two.
Tight formation, approx 500 feet, 250knots

Anyone know who they are.

HOW MANY!!!

I was only talking to two F3s...... Waiting to flypast Whitehall for the flypast with HM Queen.

There were 4 helis 20 mins prior to that......

(oh and they were all at 1500ft when holding - and between 1000ft and 1500ft when northbound.

5 passes within 30 minutes
500ft over surrey kent border.
Not sure if they were the same pair.
Last two passes were twin engine AC yes they could have been Tornados.

But first three passes were definitly not RAF colours. Light blue and white, like an aerial display team. I couldn't identify aircraft type.

Rehersals for tomorrows flypast?

OK - I say again......

Still the same TWO F3s - waiting to run in for the flypast at 1520L.

They arrived at J6 M25 at 1455approx and then set course north at 1517L. The orbits were between Redhill-Kenley-Biggin.

Definitely at 1500 feet when holding.

Before that there were some helicopters doing pretty much the same, and they overflew Whitehall at 1500L.

Yes timing is about right.
I only heard the first past. Then was outside loitering for the second, but gee I clearly saw as light blue pair below 1000 feet. Not familiar RAF green. I assumed they were a foreign aerobatic team, as they were in tight formation.

There were two different tracks the first light blue coloured pair were wider about 1/4 mile away.

The last two were directly over our house and only showed only their dark underbelly and twin engine.

Two different pairs? or same pair?

I'm first to understand that eyes can play tricks but I would be very surprised if they were above 1000 feet..

1500 feet on QNH would get them to 1100 feet above us.

If 1000 people saw these 2 aircraft make 5 orbits that would make it 10,000 jets south of Biggin:)

Light grey appears as light blue against the sky......wonder if that's why they're painted that colour?
