Does anyone know what the requirements are for converting a Canadian Maintenance Engineers license to a European license.

I'm interested mainly in rotor craft.
Any leads would be appreciated.

Thanks
Tech.

You will have to choose a JAA/NAA to submit the license to.Maybe Scandinavia or France.
Anyone but the CAA/UK would do, as they are out to make it most difficult and expensive.
It would be interesting to find out the various charges by the different NAA's.
If anyone has done the research into this I'm sure we would all welcome that info.I know that UK licensed guys certainly would as it is averaging about ukp1800 to convert a UK license with types!!!!
So come on, someone please contribute if you have looked into it.

OK somewhat of an exaggerration.Maybe should have said up to 1800.Well conversion at 192 plus types at 75 per type, plus the costs of validating course certs, exams, etc; well it all adds up el rapido don't it, when our JAA/JAR colleagues are mostly being rubber stamped!
