Heard an Ascot 2524 diverting into Brize Norton today with the pilot on the radio sounding as if on 02. No PAN or MAYDAY declared but needed some "gross weight adjustment." New term I learnt today, which apparently means dumping fuel. Even the controller wasn't sure what the first term meant and when they actually said they were dumping fuel they were given a different vector.
