Early days yet but easyJet PLC said Icelandair Investments (FL Group) has increased its stake further in the company to 11.5 pct following the purchase of 2.12 mln shares.

But not far off having to make intentions known to the Stock Exchange.

They have expressed an interest in the past...

When the FL Group first acquired their stake in easyJet they made it clear it was purely an investment, as at the time easyJet shares were very low.
They might just be continuing that 'investment', or could be venturing into a new area, although unlikely, as their interests seem to lie more in the leasing and cargo (hence the 737-800 orders from earlier in the year).
Or then they could be starting a war with their rival, Iceland Express, which now owns Danish LCCs Sterling and Maersk Air.
Yes, still early days.
