What happened to the attempt to start an airline in Bermuda? There was a gentleman who was looking at a 767 operation to UK and US. Perhaps with the small population the figures weren't just close to a reasonable operating margin.

I've been wondering the same thing. You may have more luck asking in the North America forum. My Bermudan colleagues are always keen to stress that Bermuda is not in the Caribbean, it is approximately 1000 miles north of the Caribbean in the Western Atlantic, east of North Carolina in the US.

Yeah, they're really out there! quite a ways to go if you have to divert!

Be intersting to find out if they would fall under the "Bermuda ll" agreement or not?

I actually know of an entity that was pursuing that 76 possibility, havn't heard anything lately though!

Yes, Bermuda is covered by Bermuda II as are the Cayman Islands and the other Overseas Territories of the UK.
