An interesting job ad in the current Aerospace International. Job is for AAIB as an Engineering inspector of air accidents.

The spec is understandable (CEng + min. 5 years, sound knowledge of electronic flight control systems, good analytical skills, etc).

Does anybody have any idea of AAIB pay scales? The ad just says "competitive".

I believe they are on similar scales to CAA Design Surveyors, if so that would make the starting pay around 39,000.

The best way to find out for certain is to apply...
