Just wondering what Atlas Air's fleet of aircraft are still active with the airline, I see other carriers, start up and current aquiring Atlas or Polar aircraft, mostly -200Fs.

I initially knew they parked a host of -200Fs in the desert when things went sticky with the airline and quite a few needed "D" checks, I was just wondering if they still have any parked in the desert or are all of them with other carriers.

Also are they planning on getting any more -400F's from whatever available scourse there is.

Any help will be appreciated.

Finally, does anyone know what three -200Fs GSS will be getting, I had heard it was N809MC, N528MC and another one ?

I believe that the proposed 3 GSS 'classics' are ex Air Atlanta. Previous to that they were with BA (M,N and P?).

Word is, they just announced 10 -400 conversions, some Pax 380's and talking to the USAF about contract tanker work. How's that for a mix????
Classics are on the way out. As "D" check come due, the will evaluate keeping or disposing them.
