Ho ho ho! Bweeehaaaaarrr1

They say that if all else fails, read the instruction book. We've been looking for the f*cking instruction book since 1993.

On a serious note though, does anyone use Cimber Data's AMICOS or MIPS as it was originally known? If so, does yours work properly? Air2000 are reputed (by Cimber) to find it the best computerised Aircraft Maintenance planning and Inventory Control System ever produced. On the other hand ours is a real pain in the backside...

I Used MIPS (miss information permanently shown) while I was at Air Two Bob, it is okay..as they say you get what you pay for. As an integrated system it worked well so all the stores bits and techs records bits tied up well with the planning and tech svcs side of things. Best bet is drop ATT a line.

I have heard that RBA got into a bit of a mess with it though, DCA involved and what not?

As for getting on-line info, don't cimber have a web site?

I tried to understand MIPS/AMICOS when I worked for Air 2. Never understood it. Cimber's site has nothing on the early version - they are trying to flog the improved version.
Thanks, anyway.
