MyTravelLite have launched a second booking system on their website to sell seats on MyTravel Airways flights from across the UK.

So it seems that they are moving down virtual airline route after all - it's a shame in a way because they were probably the best operator in BHX, but at least it seems they have a future.

Should be good overall - lots of airlines seem to be adopting the strategy of selling more of their larger companies seats - like bmibaby, and Thomsonfly.

Be interesting to see how it develops?

I expect then that the Lite programme is no more and the name will be the brand for selling seats on the charter flights.

Even clicking the 'whole new world of choice' icon that should be a link to their charter flights, I can still only access MTL's Birmingham flights. There is a map showing lots of destinations from lots of UK airports, but it doesn't seem to link through to the booking system yet.

And the map is naff, doesn't give routes, only points of origin/destination.

A report in the new 'TTG' confirms that MyTravel Lite will disappear at the end of the Summer. Seat-only capacity will instead be sold aboard a fully-integrated MyTravel Airways operation after that date with availability across all the usual charter routes (not just ex-BHX).
