Hi,

I am flying with MyTravel Airways (A330-200) next April (13th-28th) to GOI ex MAN and was just wondering where we will tech stop? I imagine it would be Abu Dhabi or Sharjah perhaps but maybe somebody can tell me?

Thanks for your help!

Tech stop is GOI I believe, for a fill-up of 4 star, and emptying of lavatory tanks.

Speaking of which....... Enjoy the curry down there, and take a good supply of Imodium

Hi,

Oh right - is there no tech stop then? Never mind :O - I was kind of looking forward to an hour or so in the United Arab Emirates  .

Do you work for MyTravel - it says in your profile A320/A321 so I'm making a calculated guess :ok:

Anyway.... if so, what are the chances of a quick visit up front after arrival to greet my Pilots?

What curry do you recommend?

the man-goi is on the 330-200 or maybe 300 and normally stops in bahrain.. this winter it may go direct.

Diesel36,

I think you are mixed up with Monarch. MyTravel doesn't operate any A300's!!

I stand corrected. The A330-300 slipped my mind. My apologies.

Just makes me wonder why they do a tech stop at all!. With our outfit it is a nonstop flight to GOI. Which is no problem at all for the A330.

in the past think it was something to do with cargo why we went through bahrain. supposed to be direct this winter..

It was more to do with the crew slip patterns, the cargo issue affected the MLE flight. Since the MLE was stopping anyway, it made for more efficient slips to stop them all in BAH (or SHJ).
