I am a PPRUNE virgin so you will have to bear with me!! I am cabin crew in Glasgow, I have a friend who has helped me out alot. He is 70 and has his own PPL. I would love to treat him to a flight but dont know how to go about it, cost etc. Can anyone out there help???

It may help if you described what you want to achieve for him, do you want to get him a cheap return scheduled flight, a simulator visit, a helicopter flight, what?
I presume not a light aircraft flight for someone who has a PPL?
A jumpseat ride on a scheduled flight is not possible.
Give us a clue and we'll try to help:confused:

Sorry, I should have been more specific, either a cheap scheduled flight or a light aircraft, he would be pleased with anything really!!!

Ask youur company ops department: you'll be surprised what can be achieved.
Try the Private Flying foum. There are some great people there who will almost certainly help you out.
