Anyone know the "rough" hourly rate of chartering a:

1. Citation?

2. King Air 200?

Approximates are fine?

We recently had a quote for a light jet to fly from Sydney to Alice Springs and return. It was $37000-00

There are so many different "light jets" out there and prices vary a great deal but in a nut shell you can work with the following ball park figures;

King Air B200 - $1800 - 2500 / hr A/S
Citation II or Bravo - around $3000 / hr
Lear Jet 45 - $5000 / hr A/S - my pick :)
Lear Jet 60 - $6200 / hr A/s

and
C11 or Bravo closer to $4,000 plus ph
for that area.
Still not enough but getting there from being a hobby to a business.:ok:

There are mobs about that that will give you an A320 dry and crewed for US$2000/hr, bulgarian aircraft and crew.
