Also seen SW of Horsham, nearly spilt my beer.
It was a great sight but bloody low!

The downwash rustled the leaves on my Oak tree!
Oh so it was ok to see the Wokka at low level on this occaision then...........:ok:

Guess most of you have seen this before, but it still makes me cringe!

It's not Jack Russell by any chance is it?

Where's the black tape for his eyes?

Was that photo taken on the way or way back from the school of underwater knife fighting? :}

A Sea Dragon Crewman tried to carryout toe ramp surfing in Oct 2005. The aircraft hit turbulence and said crewman ended up being "rag dolled" under the ramp. Health Warning - don't try this at home springs to mind.

ExpatPom...

Nope, it isn't Jack who departed to the fixed wing fleet some years ago now!

I do believe that the photo is of a Aussie Crewman! They'll do anything for a Fosters you know!

PP,

I'm a bit out of date, last time I saw Jack was in the 'Lot' in the FI back in '96. Come to think of it, it can't be him, I don't think the tan flying boots would be his style! The stunt would be right up his street though as you no doubt know.

Yep, I know what you mean ExpatPom!

Last time I saw him he was sunbathing with his future misses on top of a Wokka at Banya Luka when a sniper started taking pot shots at them. You've never seen anyone move so quick!

I'll try and find out today where he's gone.

As for Lot22, that sadly passed out of existence some years ago after the floor rotted through (a sad sad day) although there is a new locker room being built which might, just might get transformed into a new one, but it will never be the same! Fingers crossed...

Sadly, it doesnt surprise me that the floor of LOT 22 rotted through - seeing what was poured on it every night for so many years.
Many happy times behind the bar taking a few tinnies as tips.
