Dear all

I am type rated on the Kingair Series, but have only done the training on the 90 .
As I would like to have a more attractive resume, I would like to follow a differentation training, on the 200 .

On my JAA (UK issued ) licence, I can read

"In order to change to a different variant of an aeroplane within the type or class rating, further differences training or familiarisation is required. Any differences training shall be entered in the pilot's logbook or equivalent document and signed by a CRI/TRI/SFI(A) or FI(A) as appropriate"

There is no mention of a minimum flight time to be flown on the variant . Does the CAA ask for a minimum ?

Cheers

AFAIK it is the CRI´s responsibility, if he feels flying is required, he will fly, if not, he won´t.
BUT, this is the german position - what the DGAC or CAA thinks of it - no idea....

Thnak you your dudeness, I tend to have a similar point of view .
I e-mailed the CAA to get the final word, but still no answer .
