Hi,

Hoping that somebody can provide me with an accurate answer!

Are you able to complete the 300nm QXC AFTER the CPL skills test?

That's it, and help appreciated....

Many thanks

J

From LASORS (http://www.caa.co.uk/docs/33/LASORS2005.PDF), section D1.2(D) (page 135 of the .pdf file, or page D5):

Under the heading "Experience", LASORS lists the requirements which an applicant for a JAR-FCL CPL(A) must meet. Included in those requirements are the 540km (300mn) cross-country.

Since you don't become an "applicant" until you send the paperwork off to the CAA to apply for the license, I think you can conclude from that that you may complete this flight after the CPL course and test, but it must be completed before sending the paperwork away.

Saffer,
One of my mates completed his CPL XC after his IR!!! Just so long as it all adds up in the book at the time of application I don't see a problem..... :E After all he now has his licence!!

Good Luck with the rest of it!

What's the time limit from passing your skills test to applying for your fATPL ?
