Obviously a scouser the above - vain attempt at humour

you don't say where you are flying from, but if it is ex LGW it may be B747 - what is your flight humber?

You could be at LGW along time on friday trying to find Exel... they are a freight forwarder in London...... ???

I assume you mean Excel Airways.. subtle diference.

You will be on a B738 or a B752.

I suspect you dont know what your talking about there UFGBOY with that silly remark about scouser's. Also you will find that if you are so clever you would know that Excel do not have any 747's but hey could you possibly be in the wrong ?????

A and C is right Dillis, and if memory serves that B747 is actually branded as Excel

ACTUALLY - Air Atlanta do not operate any 747's on Excel flights!

Air Atlanta Europe do however operate their own programme from the UK using 747's, none of which are branded as Excel!:D

Now now chaps!!

Air Atlanta Europe and Air Atlanta Icelandic are both owned by Avion Group who in turn own a majority stake of Excel Airways.
'ACTUALLY' Air Atlanta Europe does fly B747 regularly for and on behalf of Excel Airways. Chances are if your on a 757 or 767 they are owned anyway at the moment by Air Atlanta Icelandic (Avion group)

I reckon you will be either on the 747 or 737, the 74' departs around noon, the other later on in the afternoon.

Enjoy....!

Think you will find that Air Atlanta operate b747's in thier own colours with their own crew, but Excel operate b737.b757 and lease b767 off Air Atlanta but in Excel colours and Excel Crew.
Theres no such thing as an Excel B747.
Sorry guys but thats a deffinate, and even if the two companies are part of the same group doesnt mean Excel operate b747's.
Like saying Virgin trains Operate Airbus A340 cause they are apart of the Virgin group lmao

Easily solved if the original poster (postee?!) gave flight number?

XLA - B767
EUK - B747 - operated by Air Atlanta (originally an XLA flight but coz of high sales, upgraded to B747 on EUK flight numbers)

ummm yes of course its there fault because they particulay said Excel and not air atlanta so god yep if they had said flight number aswell then there would have been no confusion........best form of diffence is to blame some one else nice one m8.
Love to rely on you in an emergency situation
