Hi all; hope this is the right forum for this question -
Yesterday evening as I was driving round the A405 near Hatfield, there was a little blue and white biplane flying overhead. Not of a type that I recognised, it had a radial engine (or at least a cylindrical cowling) quite a large round fin, and it was blue and white with (I think) blue stars. Very pretty a/c, and I'm guessing it was up from Panshanger as it came from that direction, then did a 180 and went back that way.
It wasn't a Stearman, thought it might have been a Great Lakes but then they don't have a cowled radial - anyone got any ideas? Just curious really, as it was a shape I didn't recognise.
