Dear friends and colleagues

For the past couple of years I have been thinking of changing my flying career into something very different to what I am doing today.

I have been thinking of becoming a tanker pilot, preferably in Europe.

I know, that in many countries fire fighting duties are flown by military pilots or eks.military pilots. Often it is a closed circuit, that is very difficult do penetrate for a normal commercial pilot.

Do any of you know, how to get a rating on a CL215? Furthermore if you know of any companies regurlarly recruiting pilots for fire fighting??

I have a colleague who flew with the French for a couple of seasons. I'll ask him about it the next time I see him.
