A previous thread had a video done by some British Troops that was extremely well done.

I ran across this song done by some US Army National Guardsmen on combat duty in Iraq. A slightly different version of a famous Jimmy Buffet song. Click on the Wasting away in Baghdad link.

Brilliant! Thanks for posting. Shame there's no video to go with it, visuals like the Kosovo song really add to the humour!

Did you ever see the photograph of the US Army truck....one of a very long line of trucks...convoying north during the initial part of Gulf 2.....with a hand made cardboard sign bearing the words...."One Weekend A Month, My Ass!". It was a classic National Guard moment!
