Anyone with recent news regarding the Aramco flight department ? Seems like they're looking for Hawker and Gulfstream pilots. Any information with regard to schedule, work conditions, upgrades would be greatly appreciated. Would it be a wise move for an American ? Thanks.

I wouldnt go near them, management totally screwed up and changing all the time. Many americans employed there, however they are "saudiizing" the company big time- with all the disastrous consequences that that implies.

Every ad I've ever seen for them insist on you being a US citizen, quite why this is when the job is in Saudi I dont know. A bloody cheek if you ask me. Anyone any ideas on that ?

Also the pay is cr@p, 8k USD per month for a B737 skipper.... oh and the joys of Saudi... thrown in for free.

Aramco used to be top drawer employment, when they had their DC-6B rotating field crews/families to Rome, years ago.
Downhill since then, I'm afraid.
