I'm sure I saw something about this recently but could not locate the thread again.

I arrived at CDG around 20:20 on Sun 29/05, we had to hold while taxying to stand for a BA 744 to push back. What route would this be operating?

G-BNLJ did 322/327 from/to LHR. May have been Bank Holiday related.

Is the London - Paris route starting to reach Japanese levels of density? Anyone know what the load factor was?

Normally only happens if the short haul fleets are struggling. Has happened on fairly regular basis though.

This was due to some previous services being cancelled.

Slightly off topic, so excuse me in advance, but that link shows a SYD-LHR flight being operated by 777 ... is this correct these days?

Jordan D: Slightly off topic, so excuse me in advance, but that link shows a SYD-LHR flight being operated by 777 ... is this correct these days?I don't think it can be correct. There are no 777s to SYD in the timetable, nor is the flight number one of the normal SYD flights.

But the thing that persuades me is the result of following one aircraft. Take G-YMMK, which is recorded as returning from SYD on 25.05 at 2004. However, looking around that time shows the aircraft doing:-
22.05 1045 PHL (out)
23.05 0614 PHL (in)
24.05 2010 IAD (in)
24.05 2136 ABV (out)
25.05 1412 ABV (in)
25.05 1900 IAD (out)

The outbound flight to IAD on 23.05 has obviously not been recorded, but this shows that MK could not have arrived back from SYD at the time it's recorded as doing so.

I haven't followed through any of the others, but 26.05 shows G-YMMN arriving from PHL at 0616, so can't have arrived from SYD at 2036 as that date's page also suggests.

Well, there has been some fast work by someone. The "BA22" entries have been pulled from the website already! :D

However, closer examination shows that there are other similar (obviously wrong) entries still in place over the months of this year. Curious.

Anyone have any ideas why these ACARS messages are being generated? My initial money was on MI6 charter flights. But I wonder whether something more sinister is at work.
