SASless, in contrast to many of your countrymen, the religious beliefs of most UK service people are far more private. So don't perceive any reluctance to contribute to this thread as being disrespective - it's just that being British, well, we just don't talk about such things in public.

Indeed, service Padres were once referred to by that splendidly teasing term 'God botherers'. No reflection on an individual's own religious persuasion, just a humourous nickname!
