View Full Version : Team America - World Police

Well, it looks like the guys from South Park may have topped all their previous attempts at gross this time.

I've just seen the full, un-censored version.

All I can say is holy sh*t (or puppet sh*t as the case may be).

Anyone else seen it?

Hands down the best film I've seen in the last year.

28th May 2005, 17:47

Watched it on a Virgin Atlantic flight recently.

Very funny movie!!!

Fantastic film! Has to be the first for a long time that I've laughed all the way through.

Good old Trey Parker and Matt Stone.

For the benefit of anyone who only saw the US theater release version, get a copy of the UK version- the deleted scene is one of the funniest film clips I have seen in years! Furthermore, even with puppets, it is highly educational!
Edited to say: Jer, yes it was!

I saw it on a Virgin flight too - and the 'puppet bonking' scene was deffo in there (and very funny too). Was there anything else deleted?

Cracking good film - laughed until my sides ached :ok:

Absolutely cracking film - I went to see it with some of my best mates (2 guys, 4 girls) and despite the filthy humour - or maybe because of it - the girls were the ones laughing the most.

Same happened when we went to see "Harold & Kumar get the munchies".

I've not seen Team America yet, but I'm with you on Harold and Kumar!

1st Jun 2005, 14:21

It's not something for the kids!!!

BTW, Harold and Kumar get the munchies.......is that what they have renamed it in Blighty? Over here it was "Harold and Kumar go to White Castle"

1st Jun 2005, 14:39
No WhiteCastles in the UK mate. I haven't found one in Florida yet either, but seeing the film gave me a craving. I also haven't laughed so hard since grandma died etc;)

Met a bunch of Ockers on a ski lift in France over Christmas. They were shouting Durka Durka at anyone who'd listen. How we laughed...

Thanks for that, I think it is a 15 over here anyway, so I would not take them. But the trailers did look good so I will treat myself and get the box of popcorn for one.............

1st Jun 2005, 23:29

At my Uni, during the annual Sabbatical elections, people decided they had enough of the usual round of Nestle/Coca-Cola/Multi-National bashing ... so they slightly altered the Team America badge:

Containing all of Edinburgh University Student Association's worst.

I guess I can boast that there is at least a "Team America"

Team Europe is batting 0 for two with the recent votes.

21st Jun 2005, 04:24
I don't usually go for documentaries, but I really enjoyed it.

25th Jun 2005, 14:49
Absolute classic film , laughed my t1ts off!!!

Whats the deleted scene?

25th Jun 2005, 15:54
Jules, let's just say the "love scene" is quite a bit longer in the "uncensored" version..........and gets very intimate.

26th Jun 2005, 06:21
Ah yes, just think of the line of the epic poem, "Eskimo Nell" (anon) that goes thus:

...where skeletons rattle in sexual battle and the ....

...clatter, clatter, clatter... :}

Someone beat me to it. Was gonin to say that I really fancied the blonde, but any relationship with her would have strings attached.

Mrs R was heard to be chuckling quietly at the uncensored version.

Who the $%^%$ was holding the strings when they were flying?
