Funny, the description seems to be written by a Korean translating it from Japanese into English (engrish).
"The pilot's seats not controlled, have the waist and shoulder straps of safety."
"Control run in the channels of general and cyclic pitch is rigid, in the travelling channel - mixed."
"According to the generalized indices the helicopter AKY-E does not be inferior to the best models of the foreign technique of this class."

Looks like it should be called a Mini 300.
The seller is in Ukraine.
The rotor head looks a little lightweight:uhoh:
I think it would take a brave man to take it out of ground effect until there is a bit of history behind it. Its to be hoped its safer than the Mini 500 if anyone buys it/flys it.

Not for me thanks.

So ventilation is achieved by removing the canopy?

Talking of ebay....there was a Garmin 196 Aviation GPS for sale at a very reasonable price in there. As it turned out it was a scam!
I nearly fell for it until Western Union warned me off as I was trying to transfer the money! Some bird from Italy, so be aware.

A very sad imitation of a scam...anyway it's been withdrawn now, no doubt because of the level of complaint.

On to the next scam.

i contacted the seller and asked him a few questions and boy did i get some nasty email's back.

i told him that he was going to sell a helicopter to someone in the US with no support for the helicopter. we have not yet set up shop yet ( working on that though )...

one of the guys that bid on the helicopter contacted me about it and sent me some of his emails. the seller said that he had a few more in stock ready to ship to the US. he said that he was getting them from the factory in kits, which is not true.. thank God the heli community knows just about everyone and something like this didn't get over.

thanks guys!

I had a look at the R44 on auction 5584548957 and did a bit of research... None of the 12 R44s currently on the G register with 2001 build date is silver like the one in the photo - so I emailed the guy at 11.53pm to ask for more detailed spec, reg, CofA date etc and got the message back at 11.57pm "sorry, it's been sold, but got another one available at 157K +VAT".

Erm, yes, and the silver one is still for sale on eBay.

Caveat Emptor.......... a second scam in the same thread perhaps??

====

Never one to turn down an opportunity, I ask again for details and get another response very quickly. This time, he\'s copied a spec off the Heliscott website, changed the price from 155 to 175K

OK, so I\'ll go and stick my head in a bucket of cold water..... argh...
