I am sad to Inform that one of our LPL based cabin crew Irene Watkins was tragically killed in a car crash on her way to the airport yesterday morning. Renee was much loved by her colleagues at both Man and Liverpool and we are all in deep shock.
Fellow crew from MyTravel in Man I'm sure will also be most saddened as Renee spent 7 years as cabin crew at Airtours.
I personally want to say she was a beautiful beautiful person
and things here will never be the same again.

Irene, you were one of those people that we all aspired to be more like.
Everybody at MyTravel is deeply upset by this tragic event. All our prayers are with your husband and family.

Very, very, very sad news indeed!
Not LPL based,
but the times that I did fly with Irene,
her magnificent smile always helped me cope with those early morning shifts.
Girl....you will be missed !
My deepest condolences to her husband, family and colleagues.

Thinking about all of you at VLM. Reeney was a very good friend of mine. I worked with her at Airtours and did some lovely trips and flights with her. She was such a genuine beautiful person. I am devistated.
She will never be forgotten.

Heard the sad news from a friend yesterday.
I had the pleasure to work with Irene at both Airtours and VLM.
She was a true angel and will be sadly missed.

Irene was an amazing person, I did many trips with her and I have to say she is one of the most genuine people I have ever met.
Our thoughts are with her family.
I am lost for words as to what to say, but there is a saying "only the good die young".
