So GF are starting flights to Salalah, Alexandria and Mashad this summer.
Any rumours of new destinations in the pipeline?

GF plan to start 4x weekly B763 MCT-CAI flights this summer, but there were reports they were going to abandon the plan as Oman Air were going to increase their own services on the route from 3 to 7x weekly flights. However the online schedules still show GF's new service with the Oman Air service remaining at 3x weekly.

As for Alexandria, GF have been operating a summer only AUH-ALY flight for the last 3 summers, but this year's flights will be from BAH instead of AUH....I guess GF are still scaling down their services from Abu Dhabi due to Etihad Airways.

Gulf Air has been flying to Salalah and Mashad for years now.As for Basra it was put on hold when the "trouble" broke out again, other rumoured routes are Durban and New york... but i think these are as merely rumours to entice crew to stay !!!
